Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Project manage the organisation and delivery of Screen Queensland’s signature events and related activities, both internally and externally• Co-ordinate large scale “Premiere” events in consultation with major international feature film distributors• Work in conjunction with Stan to curate and produce the Official Pre-Logies Event on the eve of the annual TV Week Logies Awards• Co-ordinate national events in conjunction with Screen Producers Association• Lead and manage all screen-related event activity in Queensland with the Department of Premier and Cabinet• Represent Screen Queensland at industry working groups and events • Manage the Screen Queensland events calendar • Manage celebrities and media for all Screen Queensland events• Liaise with SQ staff on marketing needs relating to regular markets or eventsSome highlights to demonstrate scope and range of event experience. • Event Management of Variety’s signature corporate event, The Variety of Chefs Ball, ranked amongst Queensland's Top Ten Events by The Sunday Mail in 2014 & 2015• Maximise financial results for all Variety’s signature events & beneficiary events• Deliver high quality, profitable fundraising events• Create and maintain a substantial network of key contacts including media, venues, sponsors and suppliers• Project management of events including- Attending events and “bumping in” i.e. transporting and setting up event materials and “bumping out” - Create documents including event order, critical path, run sheets, auction sheets, raffle tickets, prizes etc.- Securing and briefing celebrities, MC’s and guest speakers of events and ensure thorough briefing is provided- Sponsorship acquisition (both cash and in kind)- Liaising with key Client stakeholders within agreed time frames- Liaising with staff and communicating event happenings, and requesting staff assistance at events, where relevant.- Liaising with and briefing volunteers and managing them at events- Creating, liaising and maintaining relationships with other stakeholders e.g. venue managers, third party organizers, sponsors, suppliers, etc.- Sourcing quality, and targeted, prizes suitable for events- Negotiation and management of suppliers- Creating run sheets to ensure the timely running of events- Contingency planning and problem solving- Provision of event photography and waivers (where relevant)- File the post event report in a timely manner, ideally four weeks after the event• Source new relationships/partnerships for Starlight Queensland• Prepare monthly Events report • Ensure website inclusions pertaining to events are updated and current.• Obtaining quotes for all goods and services • Coordination of cash handling at events and security for same• Ensure event budgets are created and approved prior to events proceeding

Project and Event Management for corporate and non for profit clients I have produced the following events:• Variety of Chefs 2010 – A fundraising food and wine dinner featuring prominent Australian Chefs including Matt Moran, David Pugh and Ben O’Donoghue. This event was held of June 4 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre for approximately 500 guests. Variety Queensland were the underwriting party on this event.• Silver Wish Ball 2010 – A gala ball held at Sofitel Brisbane Central for approximately 400 guests. This fundraising event benefited Make a Wish Australia.• Alchemy 4/40 Event – This high profile event was held at Alchemy Restaurant for 200 of Brisbane’s social elite.
