About Mel Kinman

I have been in the Drawing Office field since 1978. I have been a mechanical design draughtswoman since 1992 & have 45 years experience in the drawing office, having started off as a tracer and, after qualifying in 1992, have 31 years practical, hands on, design experience. I am an independent business owner. I am practical & persistent, organised, focussed, with good attention to detail (which regularly drives my husband insane). My main experience is in customisation of imported Low Voltage motor products to suit the local market, refurbishment and modernising of cranes, creating geared motor power packs, & hydraulic pump assemblies. I am expanding my business interests to include the following: Design & drawings outside the Engineering sector; private comissions; scanning, electronic conversions, & CAD modifications of microfilm cards & drawings done on drawing boards; one off jobs, If you want it I can draw it.
