Capture identified failures in detail and work with engineering to facilitate resolution.• Established, build, and maintained a Dynamometer “Dyno” lab for our Product Excellence engineer team. Build five motor test rooms in a three month timeline including: software and hardware applications.

• Support engineering group by fabricating and testing electronic circuits, cabling and test fixtures as well as testing of systems.• Set up drive unit on DYNO’s and instrument for NVH tests• Make and modify parts as necessary to support test rigs and prototypes• Design and create custom test fixtures for data acquisition equipment• Conduct component level tests according to Tesla test plans and procedures, record & analyze data, document and report results• Conduct component tear downs after test completion to discover issues generated during testing, document and report results• Support engineers to design, develop and validate component level test procedures• Assembly of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment for production products’ factories in Deer Creek and Fremont.• Assembly of prototype manufacturing equipment for Manufacturing Engineering R&D.• Rigging and deployment of equipment in the Deer Creek and Fremont factories.• Execute technician tasks independently after initial instruction.• Execute technician tasks while deployed at a different building than the project’s engineer.• Oversee and advise the group’s other technicians’ craftsmanship.• Lead other technicians’ work on large assembly projects.• Work closely with the Production organization’s maintenance group beyond authoring PMI’s, to collaboratively equip maintenance with the skills necessary to maintain factory equipment• Direct daily interaction with the PWT MFG ENG engineers responsible for equipment projects, bringing questions and problems to the engineers as necessary
