Responsible for providing analytical expertise for the Business Bank’s largest and most complex financial exposures (ranging from A$10.0m - A$300.0m) across the hospitality and healthcare portfolios. Performed credit due diligence for transactions including:- analysing and interpreting financial statements, completing trend analysis, ratio analysis, and peer comparison analysis;- determining viability of forecast financial models through understanding assumptions, and then modelling sensitised scenarios based on identified quantitative and qualitative risks; - producing qualitative analysis, understanding business profile and then assessing corporate strategy and management quality in the context of industry dynamics and external influences (i.e. economic, political environment);- negotiating credit structuring of transactions, including determining appropriate debt sizing, and conditions, covenants and undertakings to manage risk within Bank appetite and to monitor counterparty performance; - completing corporate recovery analysis to determine the outcome for the Bank in the event of default, and then shaping appropriate security structure to protect the Bank’s interests; and- presenting above to internal stakeholders and decisioning officers verbally or as a concise written submission.
