My role within the company was to continue to expand on an already successful contract manufacture business and to manage the change from a manufacturing business to an offshore sourcing business.key points.-Successfully developed and maintained a key portfolio of international renowned clients including, H&M, Lee Cooper, Next, Riverisland, C&A, Tesco, Primark, John Rocha, Country Casuals, Ted Baker and Jane Norman. -Managed over 120 employees. JLC and union negotiations and controlled the full personnel function.- Major Capital Expenditure Planning & Management - raised over 1 million euro in funding for specific capital projects.-Developed a strong and lasting relationship with Government agencies – Forbairt and Enterprise Ireland.-Managed the change from manufacturing to sourcing over a two year period with minimum disruption to the business.-Strong focus on cost reduction and introduced all of the key performance evaluating procedures within Montex Holdings.-Set up and negotiated by-lateral agreements with companies in Poland and later in Romania. -Instrumental in introducing strong quality control procedures meeting the individual quality standards of our customers and successfully gained ISO9001 accreditation. - Budgeting (Operating/Capital) & Pricing Strategies Costing, Margin/Profit Improvement & ROI.-successfully brought a landmark case to the European Court of Justice establishing the right to transit goods to Ireland through an EU country where you did not hold a trademark further enhancing the principle of free trade within the EU
