With the lifesaving service coming towards its 50th year (with the PR that will surround that milestone), I have been asked specifically to focus on their high-end in-kind partnerships. A significant amount of the budget which keeps our pilots and what amounts to a mobile emergency room in the air and working, on a daily basis, in conjunction with the ambulance service, comes from fund-raising. The helicopter team hold hundreds of events every year ranging from the gala ball in Newcastle which attracts 1600 people every year to Race days and the Origins Legends Golf Day. All of these events have auctions and raffles as part of the fund-raising efforts. This requires prizes.My goal is to elevate the takeaway from these events, not only for those in attendance at the events but from the providers perspective and to pair corporate partners with people i work with from the entertainment industry to ensure we can deliver a truly money can't buy experience.

I'm a business owner, music lover and most importantly, single mother of a bright, adventurous toddler. While looking for holiday destinations i was a bit taken back to discover that a lot of the recommendations including kids were kids club or other ways that i could have her looked after so i could 'go have fun'. This is not the way we like to travel. I work 12 hour days and when i get a break, i want to spend it making memories WITH my kid. I don't want to give advice, just wanted to share some stories about how we choose to do it and hopefully people wanting some options for bonding not babysitting will find it helpful and inspire them to take their own adventure.
