• Ensure all new or Transferred Equipment/Assets is properly commissioned and tested in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturers / Company Procedures • Provide Technical Support for Company Operational assets, ensuring that it is available to meet Project/Contract requirements and Operated/Maintained within agreed budgets • Management of a comprehensive scheduled preventative maintenance scheme utilising AMOS M&P system (including calibration and maintenance/defect reporting) to secure high levels of availability and first class appearance of the systems, within or below budget. • Assist in maintaining adequate shipboard spares and repair / maintenance, equipment inventories, ensuring the most efficient means of storage and Freighting is implemented and adopted.• Identify areas of recurring problems and or the need for equipment modifications • Provide technical support and advice to the offshore crews and Project Managers.• Assist other departments as required with operational and technical expertise during tendering and job planning, prior to project execution.• Participate in induction programs for new and transferring personnel• Deputies for other department members in their absence on all related matters.• Assist the Asset Manager in setting the annual equipment maintenance budgets. • Contribute on any recommendations/improvements to the Company management systems and materially assist in internal and external auditing processes.• Often called upon to assist in other areas of the Company’s activities either for workload sharing or personnel development reasons.• Advise those around me and at a senior level in the Dept of all matters relating to our assets • Shown my flexibility to Travel at short notice to support Projects, Mobs/De-mobs and other Business matters within the UK and Worldwide
