Evaluated biocide applications using bacterial enumeration methods (i.e. microscopy, serial dilution, field test kits) and "kill tests" to determine best fit biocide program for each system.Testing included: Timed Kill test, Microscopy, and field test kits (BART, HACH, among others)Initially team member of research project, however effectively managed project to completion and commercialization of two products.Conducted field trial under short time constraints that led to sale of first upstream mercaptan scavenger product and prevented the shut down of the customer terminal by the local environmental board.Collaborated with logistics, manufacturing, and operations when it appeared that a customer's strict deadline could not be met. This entailed securing alternate means of overseas shipment, ensuring proper documentation was arranged, and keeping in close contact with all parties involved over three time zones.After encountering a problem in the customer's system that needed repair, collected data and effectively engaged with customer to ensure that field trial could continue after repairs were made. When the field trial was completed successfully the customer requested the scavenger product remain a continuous application.Testing included: Titrations and interpretation of GC/MS, IR, UV visEvaluated corrosion inhibitors using various corrosion tests to determine best-fit corrosion inhibitor for gas, oil, and mixed production systems.Testing included: High Speed Autoclaves (HSAT), Bubble test (Kettle test), and Wheel test (Bottle test)
