Profile bio

About Melanie Bristor

I am a Learning Experience Manager with 15 years of experience in curriculum design. Adept at analyzing gaps in knowledge, I design and implement learning solutions that motivate learners with varying needs and backgrounds and align with pre-set goals. One of my core strengths is collaboration which was especially vital when the pandemic hit. Our team had two weeks to turn the completely in-person curriculum into an engaging online format. I had to quickly master and integrate new digital learning management systems and design applications while juggling various and sometimes conflicting priorities of time, design asthetics, and pedagogy.I am nimble in my use of learning strategies, and always ready to change approaches when needed. I have a history of actively seeking out new opportunities to stay current on educational best practices. I have especially enjoyed experiences learning from content experts and researchers, finding ways to convey complex, technical information to a wide audience, as I did with the 3M TWIST and University of MN RET summer research programs.
