Oversaw design, development, and maintenance of Cerner Electronic Health Record by implementing, testing, and documenting system components based on user specifications and regulatory requirements across nine Cerner domains. Experienced in DCW design, build, testing, training, and support of Acute Care Delivery. Worked on Acute Nursing Clinical Documentation Team responsible for build configuration of nursing workflow from admission to discharge. Maintained build and created custom Powerforms for Inpatient Nursing and Ancillary areas. Completed new build and performed ongoing maintenance/optimization of Interactive View (IView) including DocSets and Activity View. Collaborated with Agile Project Team to standardize all Admission Intake Powerforms and Physical Assessments in IView across nine Cerner domains. Partnered with National Informatics Team on standardization projects including pain scales, fall scales, and suicide documentation.  Worked with Cerner Rehab Project Consultants to transition Acute and Inpatient Rehab facilities from paper documentation to PowerChart. This included Powerforms, PowerOrders, MPTL, Charges, and Staff Assignment build. Converted Respiratory Therapy from Clinivision to PowerChart. This included Powerforms, PowerOrders, MPTL, Charges, and Staff Assignment build. Deployed and maintained Clinical Trial build including PowerTrials prescreening rules, PowerPlans, and Powerforms. Implemented and performed on going maintenance of Acute Case Management including MPages, Powerforms and Code Sets. Facilitated integration with third party solutions including MCG, Ensocare, InterQual Connect, and NaviHealth. Developed and updated integration and regression test scripts. Participated in multiple go lives including the full suite of Cerner clinical solutions. Met SLA requirements and provided ongoing 24x7 application support across nine Cerner domains across the U.S.

Worked with physicians to design, build, and implement NextGen EHR in ambulatory clinics. Designed, developed, and deployed NextGen EHR in ambulatory clinics by collaborating with physicians that improved quality of care, safety through improved management, and improved adverse drug events by 45%. Established e-prescribing via Surescripts for EHR implementation and ensuring system processing accuracy, while significantly reducing staff overtime and generating approximately $75k annual cost savings. Built claim edit rules to expedite and resolve claim edit requests submitted by Billing department, reducing denied claims by 30% with approximately $150k annual cost savings.

Managed various IT projects from beginning to successful implementation. Collaborated with Cerner Project Team on “Path to Paperless” Project transitioning a 495-bed hospital from paper and legacy Mainframe solution to Cerner PowerChart.  Participated in design, build, and go live of Cerner PowerChart in two new hospitals.  Added/modified user access in HNAUser.  Coordinated Cerner EHR Go Live Command Center and managed approximately 300 clinical Super Users, resulting in successful transition from paper to electronic processes.  Trained hundreds of new nursing and medical staff on Cerner through weekly, engaging classroom presentations, resulting in enabling quick access to patient information and more efficient care for their patients.  Designed eLearning content using Adobe Captivate.  Managed QS Labor and Delivery upgrade including standing up 4 new servers and 40 new workstations
