Lead and initiated chapter projects as Vice President of American Public University’s Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) chapter, including: the aforementioned meteor sighting data collection, group wide astrophotography with a Celestron USB telescope camera, chapter logo re-design using astro-photos, and usage of a virtual telescope for studying comet ASSASS-O1.Represented the chapter’s voice at the national level, in votes and opinions on current news or directives.Engaging people through meetings, social media, and current information.Arranging guest lectures.Handling surplus responsibilities such as document creation or editing in support of superiors and other leadership team members (the chapter’s President, secretary, webmaster and national leadership board members).Known for clear and responsive communication, passion for space and enthusiasm.

Presenting up-to-date astronomical information for the general public, professional, and academic audiences, striving to incite the passion for space in others as it drives me. Implementing space technology and astronomical knowledge acquired over the years of constant study since grade school to provide an exciting show for various audience sizes and education levels. Independently designed and built a fully functional 6-inch Dobsonian telescope and solar filters, incorporating various formats and innovations to complete the project with all necessary materials.Conducted geometric and algebraic calculations to implement precision measurements in telescope construction, as in the case of a unique focuser mounting, solar filter and main telescope cap/cover designs.
