I am the author of 'Becoming an Autism-affirming Primary School: How to listen to our autistic pupils to create meaningful change', which was published by Routledge in 2024. Following a small scale research project, my findings on listening to autistic pupils to create autism-affirming schools were published in the International Journal of Inclusive Education. I have spoken at national and international conferences on the subject of autism, neurodiversity and inclusive education. I am also a licence holder for the National Autistic Society EarlyBird Programme and work with the families of autistic and neuro-divergent children and young people. I am the Assistant Headteacher of a large London primary school and have previously led a specialist resource provision for autistic children. I have a First Class Masters degree in Special and Inclusive Education form University College London.
