A truly challenging role as I was tasked to build business internationally for the company primarily supplying to the South African market. Within one year of opening in Australia, the business has grown to US$700 000 with projected growth to reach over US$1 000 000 in the 2nd year. We are now shipping accessories to the UK and USA as well.My role takes on the accessories product from start at trend development through production until the final stage of delivery and shipping.I manage the Chinese team and direct the designers whilst staying abreast of the latest trends and developments.Regular visits to the east are conducted for factory compliance checks as well as product sourcing.
