•Program manage delivery of all new or re-introduction parts.•Ensure the project plan is created, monitored and executed in line with the commitment to the project team. •Support product re-introduction and new product introduction, taking the role of the primary contact for the supply chain management and control elements of the delivery. •Ensure raw material is provisioned in support of supply chain change and delivered in line with commitment to the project team.•Ensure smooth transition from NPI and/or re-introduction of new and existing part numbers to the production MRPCs, where acting as integrated team project lead for part re-introductions.

• Primary interface with suppliers to lead and co-ordinate all improvement activity associated with planning, control, inventory, delivery and lead time and resolving any unverified invoice queries and associated cost changes as a result of schedule changes• Create, maintain and communicate detailed production plans of specific part orders that are commitment accepted to enable the master production plan to be achieved• Advise on the maintenance of component planning data that will enable cascade of demand through the supply chain resulting in a committed plan whilst planning and managing stock across the supply chain ensuring levels specified are maintained and is used in the appropriate order (FIFO) and time frame.• Ensure specified supplier delivery commitments are reflected in SAP, respond to supplier enquiries and manage adherence of schedule lines to ensure delivery to plan and ensure paperwork and information transfer in relation to all part movements is compliant with business and regulatory requirements.

• Work with suppliers to prevent the escape of non-conforming parts and ensure that their quality standards meet that of Rolls-Royce• Work on projects to improve processes by applying continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma tools and knowledge • Work with inspectors, controllers, fitters, operators and the shop floor personal to resolve issues caused by non-conforming parts supplied by the vendors• Research and investigate problems (PIRs) and apply the 7 step problem solving method for all type of non-conformities such as NPI, Process, Supplier non conformity, Failures• Drive scorecard data integrity by adherence and compliance to non-conformance process and policies• Analyze data and information on supplier’s performance (scorecards and quality metrics), leading to red flag improvement plans & exit strategies.• Lead red flag process and activities through all the supply chain • Lead concession reduction activities to reduce cost, implement non-quality preventive activities and improve quality

• Collect and analyze data across the process/supply chain • Support criteria for down selection• Analyze logistic costs and identify transportation strategies• Lead/participate in kaizen activities for supply chain mapping• Deliver continuous improvement quick wins, “Just do it” projects• Communicate with suppliers to obtain information reliable to their special process sub-tiers.• Based on volume, cost and transport variation, select keys sub-tiers to create propositions to establish long-term agreements, encourage better relationship and obtain cost reduction.
