Mass communication graduate, future public relations professional. I earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications through the Manship College of Louisiana State University. My desire to be a part of the media while providing a voice for organizations led me to focus my studies on public relations and business administration with an aspiration to combine those fields in a workplace environment.My experience at LSU has taught me valuable life skills, but more importantly I've learned the principles of public relations. Throughout my media writing, digital branding, and visual communications courses I've understood the importance of interpersonal communication skills. I enjoyed learning through these courses how to successfully advocate for any belief through the power of the written word.I continue to learn new skills everyday as a student at LSU. Over the past three years, I mastered Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and multiple social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok. Last summer, I showcased these levels of expertise in a public relations internship and hope to continue to build experience in the field of mass communication and public relations.
