Melanie currently works at NDY within their Property team, as a project engineer. She works with all design team members to deliver projects that make the spaces works for their clients. Melanie worked at WSP and Aurecon as a Hydraulic Engineer within their Built Environment Teams. This role involved designing Hydraulic Services for commercial, government, healthcare, legal, private, arts, education, sports, defence buildings and infrastructure. Melanie previously worked for the Gundjeihmi Aboriginal Corporation as an Environmental Officer. Within this role Melanie worked as a stakeholder for the regulation for the Ranger Uranium Mine. Melanie assisted regulators and the mining operators understand the Environmental and Cultural concerns held by the Mirarr people. Melanie coordinated the GACs response to the EIA submitted by the mining operator to continue underground mining.
