As an area manager at Jigsaw OOSH, I oversee 11 centres that provide before and after school care and vacation care services. I am responsible for ensuring quality practices, compliance, and performance management across all centres, as well as providing training and support to new hires and existing team members.I have a passion for mentoring and developing my team, and I have helped many educators advance their careers into leadership or management roles in the last 7 years. I am also pursuing a bachelor's degree in early childhood education at Charles Sturt University to enhance my knowledge and skills in the field.I have over 14 years of experience working with children of all ages, from 0 to 13, in various roles and settings. I also have skills in new business development, allyship, and unconscious bias, which I acquired through multiple certifications from LinkedIn.My goal is to create a positive and inclusive culture within the childcare services, where every child, educator, and family feels valued and respected. I am always looking for new ways to improve the quality and impact of the services, and to collaborate with other stakeholders and partners in the sector.
