Led strategic planning and business development efforts across the firm's practice groups: Business Restructuring & Insolvency, Business Law, Energy & Environment, Government & Public Affairs, Labor & Employment, Litigation, Real Estate, and Trust & Estates.Responsibilities in this role include:• Developing and updating firmwide and practice group strategic planning documents in partnership with Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and practice group leaders. • Advising C-suite and Board of Directors on current and planned business development activity, strategy execution, and opportunities for new lines of business.• Conducting interviews with the firm’s largest and most strategic clients to maintain positive relationships and seek feedback on legal service delivery.• Connecting attorneys with strategic thought leadership opportunities and helping to develop engaging, targeted content with appropriate calls to action. • Providing strategic communications support during the implementation of firm-wide marketing and business development technologies, including a new customer relationship management tool in 2024.• Hosting and attending external networking events in Maine and New Hampshire to keep the firm connected to the business community in those regions. • Organizing internal events that connect attorneys across practice and industry groups to promote a collaborative culture and excellent client service.• Co-managing the firm’s corporate social responsibility activity in Maine and New Hampshire by forging strategic, holistic relationships with local nonprofit organizations.• Responding to requests for proposals and developing customized, well-informed pitch materials.• Co-leading a team of five business development, communications, events, and competitive intelligence professionals.

Led all business development efforts for BerryDunn's State Practice Area, proposing on Health & Human Services and Finance & Administration projects in all fifty states. Responsibilities included:- Drafting and submitting complex project proposals with budgets up to $25M for the following services: technology procurement support, IT strategic planning, project management, and independent verification and validation of large-scale technology implementations.;- Helping consultants prepare for presentations to potential clients;- Identifying and evaluating new opportunities;- Communicating with State procurement contacts; - Summarizing and publicizing the success of BerryDunn's project work across the country; and- Working with the larger New Business Development team to meet firm-wide revenue goals.

Worked as part of a larger Institutional Advancement Team to increase support for Endicott College. Responsibilities included:- Prospecting, soliciting, and stewarding corporate and foundation donors to Endicott College;- Writing detailed grant proposals for a wide variety of programs, including curriculum development, capital projects, community service, on-campus workshops, and more;- Developing program budgets and working with the College's finance team to provide accurate, detailed spending reports to corporate and foundation donors at the completion of each grant;- Selling event sponsorship and naming opportunities across campus;- Working closely with College deans and other faculty members to fund initiatives that help the College to grow and attract and retain a talented student body; and- Maintaining strong, mutually beneficial relationships with local and national institutional donors.

Created and implemented year-round fundraising strategy to grow corporate fundraising revenue for New England's largest food bank. Responsibilities included:- Cultivating, stewarding and closing gifts from an assigned portfolio of corporate donors in the $10,000 and above range;- Managing GBFB's Cause Marketing program, which resulted in $1M in revenue each year;- Managing GBFB's Matching Gifts program;- Co-leading GBFB's six-week "Give Meals. Give Hope." fully integrated fundraising campaign, which exceeded its $2M goal by $800,000 in its first year;- Creating and implementing GBFB's first ever corporate donor recognition program, Partners for Impact;- Managing GBFB's peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns, which resulted in more than $250,000 in revenue each year;- Working with corporate partners to administer customized volunteer experiences that engaged corporate employees; and- Planning and tracking corporate fundraising progress through the The Raiser's Edge software.
