I gained valuable hands-on experience as an entrepreneur in all business areas (b2b sales, e-commerce, digital marketing service, social media, design, supply chain, logistics, trade shows, customer service, PR etc.).

After moving to the Netherlands, I offered freelance and consulting services in the areas of strategy, business planning, project management and business controlling. I participated in a feasibility study of a strategic e-commerce growth project for OTTO (www.otto.de). I developed the business modelling tool and delivered the business plans for all scenarios.I worked with several start-ups and assisted with developing their growth strategies.

The Otto Group is a globally active group of retailers and retail-related service providers with around 52,560 employees and sales of 13.4 billion euros. The Otto Group is one of the world’s largest online retailers.I led a team of accounting professionals, providing top-level reporting and advice to the Otto Group Management Board on all significant business decisions, including decisions concerning portfolio management, investments & disinvestments, M&A, vision and strategy. - Monthly standard reporting to the board- Annual planning- Business analysis and commentary for all relevant investment decisions- Input in vision and strategy- M&A projects- Improvement of reporting tools, including implementation of SAP reporting system

Next to my business degree I completed a vocational training in commerce at the Otto Group (Degree "Gross- und Aussenhandels Kauffrau"). During this time I gained insights into all major business functions of the Otto Group, including procurement, sales, e-commerce, accounting, finance and HR.
