As a Paralegal and Commissioner of Oaths, I bring more than 18 years’ experience across both public and private sectors, serving executive leadership and defending clients in Alberta courtrooms on a wide range of legal matters, leveraging excellent research, communication, and writing skills, used to draft minutes, reports, policies, communiques, and a range of confidential legal documents. I’m committed to performance and service excellence, managing a high volume of case files, and conducting research on precedential legal matters. I’ve served with several law firms, managing high volumes of case files, drafting a wide range of legal correspondence and documentation, conducting research on precedential legal matters related to corporate commercial law, personal injury, and insurance defence litigation, and leveraging skill in investigation, analysis, and negotiation to execute strategic defence planning and advocate for clients. As Executive Assistant with the Alberta Justice and Solicitor’s Office I served as a key link and critical resource, coordinating the AJSG’s end-to-end administrative function, partnering with Executive Directors, the Minister’s Office, and the Deputy Minister/Assistant Deputy Minister, providing counsel and advisory, and supporting development of policy and education initiatives related to criminal justice law reform. An influential leader and coach, I train, and guide teams, providing clear and timely communication and coaching, focused on performance excellence, professional development, and long-term career advancement.
