Lead teaching and learning• Manage the elaboration, implementation and evaluation of the French-Australian Bilingual Program Strategic Plan.• Manage the implementation of the French-Australian Bilingual Program strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery.• Manage the development of the French-Australian Bilingual Program assessment and reporting functions.• Responsible for French accreditation of the French-Australian Bilingual Program.• Enhance high quality teaching and learning in the French-Australian Bilingual Program through explicit modelling, mentoring and coaching of staff in the French-Australian Bilingual Program.Lead improvement, innovation and change • Contribute to the leadership of the school• Contribute to the final form of any curriculum proposals for Leadership Team consideration.• Manage enrolments in the French-Australian Bilingual program• Manage the French-Australian Bilingual Program budget.• Organise and participate in the recruitment of French-Australian Bilingual Program staff.• Develop and maintain effective strategies and procedures for staff induction.Develop self and other• Develop and maintain effective strategies and procedures for professional development.• Conduct French-Australian Bilingual Program French teachers’ professional reviews.• Elaborate, implement and review French-Australian Bilingual Program Professional Learning Plan.Engage and work with the community• Liaise with a range of French administrative authorities.• Organise French official visits to the school.• Develop and maintain structures for effective liaison and consultation with families andcommunity groups.

Develop lesson plans fulfilling requirements of the school’s bilingual curriculum program.Implement the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals.Establish clear objectives for all lessons, assignments, units and projects.Evaluate the learning progress of students on a regular basis.Contribute to the establishment of a dual French/Australian curriculum. Establish and maintain efficient classroom management procedures and standards of students behaviour.

Key responsibilities as a teacher- Teach General French and specialised courses (Conversation, Civilisation, French for Business, French for Travelers) to adults and teenagers.- Lead cultural and language workshops.- Teach French from grade 1 to grade 5 at Wilston State School and Ascot State School. - Promote courses and activities to students.- Assessing students level in official exams and tests like DELF. (Benowa State School)- Provide training to Australian French teachers for “Professional Learning Day”.- Use and develop teaching material on Interactive Projectors.Key responsibilities as a Librarian- Perform regular cataloguing of the library’s new acquisitions and maintain accurate data.- Implement and advertise the library’s collection through Alliance’s website.- Improve the catalogue system to provide an easier access.

Assist students in Years 10, 11 and 12 undertaking the Standard and Higher Level French courses for the International Baccalaureate.
