Conducted a qualitative and quantitative HIV research study within the Quiche and Kachical Mayan communities. Developed an HIV knowledge, attitudes, and practices survey that was administered to more than 800 Mayan men and also assisted in HIV testing and counseling to this group. Analyzed data results. Supported medical consultations with medical staff for over 2,500 men, women, and children. Provided basic training on computer programs (Excel and SPSS) to IDEI staff.
