Managing agency operations, including personnel, patient and family care, finance, growth, and quality.

Responsible for the day to day operations of this branch office. We serve the Home Health needs of the people in Sevier County. I work with our Regional Director to maintain optimal staffing and budgeting, work with our marketing rep. to do teaching within the community, and work with our Medical Director to keep her abreast of any thing that may be happening in our agency or with our patients. I hire and train new staff. I assist with developing and rolling out new programs within our company.

Managed the Clinical Staff, and assured quality patient care. Serving West Tennessee, including Shelby, Tipton, Lauderdale and Fayette Counties. Worked with clinicians, physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, patients and caregivers. Taught hospice education in the community and in the facilities that we worked with.

Directly responsible for the clinical operations in the Tennessee Valley, which included, Tennessee, Virginia, Georgia, and North Carolina. Traveled to our hospice agencies. Reviewed documentation, instructed clinicians, and the agency Director and Clinical Manager. Served as a resource for care of our hospice patients. During 2012, I was part of the team that rolled out our new computer documentation. I traveled to many of our offices, outside of my region, to teach staff the new program, and use of electronic documentation.

Managed Cardiac, Neuro, and Medical/Surgical intensive care units, and the CC step-down units.

Development and management of new hospital in west Knoxville. Opened July 2003. Managed the Critical Care/Step-Down and Medical Surgical Units.

Managed a Critical Care Step-Down Unit. Developed a fast- track program for Open Heart Surgery patients. Developed a Pain Management program for post-surgical patients.Helped to coordinate programs for Magnet Status.
