STEM Ambassadors is a professional development program with a mission to change the conversation of STEM through representation and engaging hands-on activities in the classroom. By becoming better leaders, communicators, and presenters, we hope to connect with underrepresented students to reinforce that attending college and pursuing STEM fields can be attainable by anyone who is determined no matter their ethnicity or economic background.

Examined social influences on health policy in response to the outbreak of HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C. Research findings were presented at Tufts University and UMass Worcester Medical School.

Oversaw functions for the Sharewood Project, a free healthcare program for predominantly low-income, minority populations in the Greater Boston Area.

As part of the National Institute of Drug Abuse Summer Internship, I assessed barriers to accessing digital Hepatitis C information among intravenous substance users. Findings were presented in an oral and poster presentation at the UCSF SRTP Summer Research Symposium, winning best oral presentation, and a poster presentation at the 2018 Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students at Indianapolis

SMASH Academy provides a tuition-free, intensive STEM education to high school students of color focused on college and career readiness. The three year SMASH Academy program, a 5-week residential experience for each of the three summers during high school focused on developing the knowledge and skills that Scholars will need to help build strong, diverse and socially conscious teams.
