As a writing specialist, I create a comprehensive, school-wide writing program that provides instruction for in-person and remote classes for middle school and high school students. I develop and implement synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities for students via in-person and Zoom. I assign and monitor coursework via Google Classroom. I also conduct in-person and online teacher and parent training.As an independent study teacher, I assign, evaluate, and provide learning opportunities for K-12 students in all subject areas, maintain accurate student records, and work collaboratively with parents and other teachers. This includes the following: recording and maintaining independent study documentation using School Pathways report writing software; researching and recommending curriculum and materials for instruction; orienting parents to the procedures of the school while maintaining accurate student records; and assisting with state testing preparation, implementation, and evaluation.

I offered classes in writing, science, and art to Redding area charter school and homeschooled students in grades K-8. I was also a private Tutor for reading, writing, and mathematics.
