Remit is to create, implement and manage the strategy for quality, whilst contributing to the overall performance and management of the business. Main responsibilities include:-• Maintain, develop and implement best practice initiatives in relation to activities of audits, inspections, policy and procedure statements in order that the conditions of the Welsh Government QEF requirements, ESTYN, IS0 9001, Award Bodies and internal practices are met.• Attend NTFW, Welsh Government and Estyn events, review publications and keep abreast of industry initiatives / changes and LMI. • Co-ordinate the Self-Assessment Process • Safeguarding Officer• Lead for the BSI 9001 annual audits, Award Body and Estyn link visits.Personal Successes• developed the concept of IDRIS, a bespoke web based customer satisfaction measuring system, breaking down access barriers and addressing time and resource limitations. The system provides live satisfaction and response rates for all programmes, inclusive of subcontractors, allowing the interrogation of learner data centrally, exploring patterns and trends as well as allowing learners to feedback specific comments relating to their experience.Impact - Review of Learner voice results – trend analysis over 3 years – 7% or above increase in Very Good for all categories. System documented in an Estyn best practice report on Estyn Website.• Led the development of ITEC Internal Verification system to evaluate assessor performance against the Estyn Grading system and subcontractor / Partner Portal system• QIP bids - led the development and cascade of the Ffynnon system to ITEC subcontractor network, working closely with co-activa and Welsh Government. Development of Digital Literacy Skills throughout ITEC and Subcontractor network.
