I assist employers with all aspects of labor and employment law, including representation before the EEOC, DOL and NLRB. I also represents employers in litigation matters in state and federal court. In addition, I advise employers regarding restrictive covenants issues, performance management and employee discipline issues, employment agreements, severance agreements, compliance with state and federal employment laws, employee handbooks, employee benefits, and much more.

I served as the Chief Counsel of the Arizona Civil Rights Division (ACRD) for almost five years. I managed all operations of the Division, including investigations, work sharing agreements with the EEOC and HUD, the alternative dispute resolution program, and litigation. I supervised the investigators, compliance managers and attorneys in Phoenix and Tucson, and I served as the Division's liaison to community groups and other stakeholders.

I served as the Chief Counsel of the Compliance Section of the Arizona Civil Rights Division (ACRD) for almost two years. I oversaw and managed the investigation branch of the Division and administered the Division's work sharing agreements with the EEOC and HUD. The Compliance Section investigates charges of discrimination in the areas of employment, housing and public accommodations. I also served as the acting Human Resources Director for the Attorney General's Office during this period of time.

I served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Employment Law Section of the Arizona Attorney General's Office for almost nine years. I represented state agencies in administrative hearings and litigation proceedings in state and federal court. I also advised agency directors and human resources administrators regarding all aspects of employment law, including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA and state personnel rules and regulations.
