This job is much like the last job at Full Moon Resort. I am still overseeing event planning and managing the inter-workings of the business but now I have more independence in how the work gets done. Focusing on overseeing daily administrative operations, providing input for business planning, goal setting, and ensuring smooth business operations. This job has helped balance my work and my life more efficiently. I am proud of the fact that I am more able than ever to help others make others' dreams come true, as I have only gained more experience over the years.

This job is nothing like the sciences, the social work, or the medical work I have done in the past. I like to think that I’m still following my heart and helping people as I dreamed I would, just in a different way then I ever dreamed. I like to say that my work is helping others make their dreams come true. I have always enjoying working with people, helping them in one way or another. I pride myself in helping couple create the wedding they want within a budget they can afford and helping them focus their money on the things that will matter most to them. I like the challenge of not becoming a wedding factory and working with each couple to create a unique wedding representative of the couple. However, if you've ever been a bride, a groom, or even a bridesmaid, you also know the kind of stress involved with planning a wedding. So a lot of my job is also being a, therapist, sounding board, mediator, and even punching bag, figuratively of course, when frazzled nerves come into play. I’ve always been good at planning big parties, negotiating and networking. However, I think by far the attribute that my clients comment on the most is my ability to remain calm in the face of adversity, no matter what the situation is.I also think my openness to all cultures and beliefs and excitement for learning new things allows me to excel at this job. Since I have years of experiencing wedding ceremonies I am very knowledgeable of customs and traditions, which are also part of many wedding ceremonies. Overall, I love my job, who can complain about throwing parties everyday.

Having been through a lot of life in a short period of time, I realized perhaps it was all to show others what is possible. I've always had a desire to help others and to understand why we do the things we do. Having an educational background in psychology and the sciences, worked in Africa as a diagnostic specialist of opportunistic diseases and found nutrition and the power of food to be the most helpful, I decided to study nutrition further. I produced events for 2 decades having a large amount of work related stress, working mother of two, lost two parents to poor health in 10 years, (also created a lot of stress) and found myself very unhealthy. Having struggled with my own weight over the years and the effects of emotional mindless eating, I also realized the value of the behavioral side of establishing healthy eating habits. Thus, after losing over 60 pounds myself in 14 weeks, I became a walking billboard and everyone wanted to know “how I did it” and “could I help them”. Having personally lost both parents to poor health in 10 years, helping people regain hope, that improving their health is possible, became very meaningful to me. Hence, we (my husband and I) established a transformational health coaching business to help others improve their health (Healthy Body, Healthy Mindset, Healthy Finances). Our education and continual training completes our coaching arsenal – allowing us to provide you, with the tools and methods you need to achieve your goals. Our program produces RESULTS like no other, with us by your side as your personal transformational health coach, you achieve the success you desire. Together we draw more of what you want into your life and ensure you dream big, envision it, believe it, and take action to execute it. We are here to awaken those who are slipping into a life of autopilot and regret by empowering potential and reclaiming hope that anything is possible.

The Needy Hospice Association, an NGO established to offer services to terminally ill patients. Because of the rise in AIDS cases in Tanzania, hospital beds are filled with two or three people at one time. Hospitals can only deal with this overload by discharging the terminally ill patients to be cared for by their relatives at home. However, because of the stigma of HIV, many families will not accept these patients. Many are left to fend for themselves. This means they are left alone to die.My initial role was to diagnose the AIDS patients’ diseases in order to provide them with the proper treatment and medications. It was quickly evident that many of the patients were unable to take the medications because they lacked food. In Tanzania, most people who die of AIDS actually die of starvation.Seeing the effects of inadequate nutrition on patients and how this compromised our ability to treat them, I realized I had to do something. If our mission was to improve quality of life and maintain a stable level of health, then it was necessary to provide a regular supply of food, so I set out to create a sustainable food project.
