Bioinformatician Iii
Current- Performs bioinformatics research with an emphasis on mechanistically understanding the fundamental processes of transcription. - Applies data mining, statistics, data visualization, and application of deep learning techniques. Specialties lie in applications of convolutional neural networks (CNN) towards interpreting genomics data.- Responsible for creation, updates, and maintenance of a Ruby on Rails database to manage NGS sequencing data and log experimental details.- Responsible for pipeline creation and interfacing with the RoR database and updates of NGS Sequencing data including ChIP-seq, ChIP-nexus, ATAC-seq, RNA-seq, PRO-seq etc. - Trains incoming lab members on computational methodology, genomic data structures, and associated skill sets.
