Clear, concise and to the point -- that's my definition of effective communication. I've been a reporter, sub-editor, copywriter, author, editor, proofreader, teacher, facilitator, tutor, mentor -- all roles which have enabled me to use and expand my love of the English language. I'm meticulous, careful and dedicated to doing the best job possible. Getting it right is important -- so punctuation, grammar and checking the facts are vital. Helping students to see the necessity for punctuation in writing is only a part of learning English ... using, writing and making the language work for them is what I enjoy in teaching.
