Melanie Adamich is HDI’s Director of Marketing and oversees strategic marketing initiatives for the business. Melanie joined HDI in 2009 as the marketing manager, quickly moving into a position where she oversaw HDI’s web strategy. She has extensive experience in all things marketing: internet marketing, social media and interactive solutions, software product marketing, marketing communications and strategy, advertising and PR, and messaging and branding. Prior to joining HDI, Adamich was the Client Services Director for an interactive agency, Product Marketing Manager for Ceridian, and Marketing Director for Recruiting Solutions, Inc. Melanie holds a B.A. in English from Metropolitan State College of Denver.

Responsible for effectively marketing human resource software products: Time & Attendance, Self-Service, Standalone Tax Services, Enterprise Solutions. Key responsibilities included development & execution of strategic marketing plans that met key financial objectives of the company; writing and developing copy for datasheets, brochures, marketing emails, field announcements, etc.; and managing the marketing budget for owned products.

Managed and directed all aspects of the RSI marketing department. Responsibilities included creation and development of all marketing collateral, graphic design, writing press releases and releasing them to the press, running & managing tradeshows, advertisement creation & placement, project management, and developing and launching direct mail and email campaigns.Key Achievements: Managed and ran the marketing department solely for two years, supervising interns. Revamped the current collateral and redesigned it to more effectively market the product.Created marketing materials for partners using our branding.Created & designed advertisements for national human resource magazines.Designed tradeshow booth graphics. Coordinated and prepared submissions for award entries.Redesigned company logo to increase brand awareness in the market space.

Created and designed an entirely new web site for a company product using Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Flash, and Macromedia Fireworks. This project took six months with an on-time deadline. Wrote and edited press releases on a monthly basis. Created a quarterly employee newsletter in MS-Publisher and submitted in PDF form. On a monthly basis, used web registering to assure quality placement on search engines. Created and designed product datasheets and training marketing collateral using PageMaker and QuarkXpress. Re-edited and created a design for product white papers.

Major responsibility was editing candidate resumes, using MS-Word to display all edits as the resume was being edited. Key Achievements:* Utilizing Adobe PageMaker, served as the managing editor of company newsletter. Wrote five to ten articles per newsletter and edited all incoming articles. * Created and developed graphics for newsletter, marketing materials, and proposals utilizing Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Corel Photo-Paint, Paint Shop Pro, and MS-PhotoEditor. * Developed Request For Proposals (RFP) using Adobe PageMaker. * Maintained company web site daily with MS-FrontPage and Macromedia Dreamweaver. Used JavaScript in changing rollovers; created forms for user feedback, an application for employment, and information requests; and uploaded forms to the server. * Created marketing materials for clients and consultants using Adobe PageMaker and graphics software.
