Acted as the primary client contact for multi-generational families and a medium-sized family foundation. Worked closely with client team members and advisors including investment managers, accountants, attorneys and trustees. Recognized complex family, generational, and business relationships. Served as the primary point of contact for all back office services provided to family foundation; reported to foundation staff, investment & audit committee, and full board as necessary. Educated clients on philanthropic options and opportunities including annual gifting, donor advised funds, community foundations and family foundations. Worked with internal Investment Advisors to facilitate investment decisions, stayed abreast of client tax situations, and met portfolio cash requirements. Played lead role on newly created client community focused on mission-related investing, including planning of monthly meetings, arranging speakers & attendees and ensuring completion of actions items. Participated in annual risk management review with client’s insurance broker; made adjustments to policy as necessary and engaged client with questions.
