Melanie currently serves as a Corporate Regional Philanthropy Officer at the American Red Cross- KY Chapter. In this role, Melanie works with companies to leverage partnerships. This allows companies to provide help and hope to people when they need it most. Melanie had over 17 years of experience at the University of Kentucky. Here, served as Director of Philanthropy for Student Success, Senior Major Gift Officer for Parents and Families, Assistant Director of Employer Relations and Community Partnerships at the James W. Stuckert Career Center, Career Counselor for the Colleges of Engineering, Education, and Social Work, and Senior Data Coordinator at the Center for Drug and Alcohol Research. In these roles, she had the opportunity to gain experience with program development, event planning, company engagement, as well as donor relations and stewardship.
