I am the Manager of Strategic Communications & Partnerships at the Center for Effective Public Policy, a national nonprofit working to build a world where justice ensures strong, healthy communities for everyone. I guide and implement CEPP’s strategy for external communications, document CEPP’s work for and with various audiences, identify funding opportunities, and lead CEPP’s proposal writing efforts. Before joining CEPP, I was the Communications Manager at the Association for Neighborhood & Housing Development (ANHD), where I handled all internal and external communications needs for the organization and supported and facilitated the communications needs of its member groups and coalitions. Before working there full-time, I was one of ANHD's Morgan Stanley Community Development Graduate Fellows working with the community development nonprofit Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation (NMIC) in Washington Heights on affordable housing development and community organizing. I received my Master of Science in Urban Policy and Leadership (MSUPL) from Hunter College's Urban Policy and Planning program, where I served as the Editor-In-Chief of the department's magazine Urban Review. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College, where I received the Journalism Faculty Award and worked with the Park Center for Independent Media. While there, I interned with The Nation magazine and The Laura Flanders Show. I have served on the boards of City Limits and the New York City chapter of Women, Action & The Media (WAM!NYC), and I am currently a member of Radical Communicators and formerly of Jew for Racial and Economic Justice (JFREJ).
