I oversee and support CTE ( Career Technical Education) Pathways in the following industry sectors: Engineering and Architecture,Health Science and Medical Technology, Information and Communication Technologies. Arts and Energy, Environment and Utilities; Collaborate with district curriculum department, schools. teachers and Administrators to help ensure the necessary skills in Science, Technology,Engineering and Math Pathways as well as exposure to STEAM curriculum experiences; Robotics, solar sprint car, Drone competitions, Science and Engineering Fair, SeaPerch Underwater Robotics and Math Field Day Competitions. Our team coordinates county-wide initiatives and best practices in our high school, middle school and alternative schools. An online certification for teacher in special settings to become NCLB compliant. I am one of the instructors and creators of this course. I am also a "Video Lecturer" for the Earth Science, Biology and Chemistry classes. This online certification consists of 72 hours of earth science, physics,(Tier 1) chemistry and biology.(Tier 2) The format is teacher/lecture video and activities/ labs to be completed and turned in online through the Haiku learning portal.
