I collaborate with the executive board and lead a team of nine to promote local bands in Tuscaloosa. I delegate responsibilities to the team regarding publicity, social media content curation, and organizing photoshoots. I built a website for LEPT using Wix. I edit and post blog posts written by my team. In addition, I seek out and invite music industry guest speakers to speak at LEPT meetings.

I contribute articles to the Features section of the magazine and website. I draft and pitch ideas to monthly meetings and collaborate with other students and local organizations to draft my articles.I recently wrote an article about how the arts deserve as much attention and funding as athletics do at The University of Alabama, which received great feedback from readers.

I write original articles based on politics, popular culture, and opinion. I follow draft and post deadlines, pitch ideas to weekly club meetings, and assist with composing and editing the weekly newsletter. I cover entertainment topics with a political angle, reacting to current events in the film and music industry, and sharing my experiences working as an actress. An article of mine that received positive feedback from readers all over the country was my story about my decision to transfer from a university in New York City to The University of Alabama.Through my work for this publication, I was invited to represent Capstone Free Press at Collegiate Network and Intercollegiate Studies Institute’s National Editors Conference in Washington, D.C. in September 2022 and October 2023. There, I was able to network with other college journalists and learn how to run a paper, edit pieces, and how to stand true in my beliefs.

I made calls to alumni and friends of the university on behalf of The University of Alabama. I contacted alumni to update records and raise money for the National Alumni Association. I cultivated donations and gift solicitations by also maintaining an extensive knowledge of the University’s history and programs.

I gained customer service skills by answering phones, booking appointments, and handling operational procedures such as opening or closing the facility and register deposits. I effectively communicated company policies to guests and new members, and handled employee requests and customer service issues daily. I also was responsible for ensuring the safety of multiple children at a time, facilitating playtime.

I wrote weekly articles for the online publication on news relevant to The University of Alabama and the local area. I met tight deadlines and verified information with local businesses, students, and University staff. I wrote stories on financial struggles faced by students and other local news, as well as entertainment news such as upcoming concerts and plays. I found and pitched new article ideas every week.

I assisted with various productions by supporting the cast and crew, transferring props to and from set, responding to production requests, and helping to coordinate the development of multiple projects. I also appeared on camera in an infomercial for a product created by Spectrum Brands, in which I represented my talent agency with professionalism by demonstrating reliability and attention to detail in my presentation of the product. I successfully worked in a fast-paced environment where I had to rapidly memorize lines and information and transport items around set.

I managed multiple social HC Pace social media accounts, where I created and posted daily graphics and content to update our followers on upcoming events, new articles and other important information. I also posted “day in the life” vlogs to our Instagram story and answered questions from current and future members about the club’s culture and other aspects.

I published weekly articles relating to popular culture, opinion, lifestyle, and college life. I found and pitched stories at weekly meetings that were sure to resonate with and entertain the demographic.The content on my author page is all popular culture related, as I posted album reviews and opinion pieces on public figures. My article on actor/singer Shane Harper earned me the “Writer of the Week” spot in September 2020.

I wrote, filmed, and edited short news clips for multiple social media platforms. I utilized my personal experiences and knowledge of pop culture to provide engaging news updates about celebrity news. I also participated in an episode of the web series "Pace Code" discussing my experience of attending college during a pandemic. I contributed new content ideas and news topics to cover during our weekly meetings. I was “Member of the Week” in February 2021 due to my active participation in meetings, events, and films.
