Led a small but mighty team tasked with attracting top technical talent for a leader in the digital media and advertising space. Implemented a multi-pronged strategy to address employment brand visibility for a non consumer-facing brand in a very competitive market. Most notable are:- Establishing "CodeCraft"​, a local Tech Meetup fully owned and grown by the Engineering team members themselves- Launching TechRecruiting Mashup which was a co-oped annual recruiting event of tech companies in the L.A. and Silicon Beach area- Building a College Internship program to build the bench of near-term and future-term talent poolThe engineering teams I worked with built state-of-the-art transactional systems that handle an insane amount of data every second of every day. This environment had a suite of technologies that included the industry's most progressive language stacks and methodologies. With a continuous integration environment powered by a massively distributed test execution system along with automated deployments, software professionals here see first-hand how they can thrive in an environment streamlined for rapid code development.

Grew so much taking on serious stretch roles in my first startup environment. Learned and sold Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), SaaS and the Professional Services model. I first managed client accounts then moved to a consultative selling role. Built-out the SoCal market with key enterprise-sized accounts. Took the opportunity to be involved in a product management council role for our SaaS platform. Had the time of my life!
