I am a marketing and communications manager with 4 years experience in digital media, paid search and SEO. I also have 7 years experience in association membership and event marketing and association publication management and editing. Currently, I am an SEO Account Manager, helping clients improve organic traffic, leads and conversions. I have deep experience auditing sites, consulting with marketing and PR teams, and innovating ways to use SEO tools and search trends when creating and pitching content. Previously I managed a freelance copy team and copy project flow. My team completed consistent, quality paid search and SEO copy for 25+ accounts at multiple agencies, working with account teams to understand client voice and account goals. I have extensive association marketing experience, creating materials and managing timelines and marketing budgets for events and workshops, using a more traditional approach of print ads, direct mail and member outreach. I am excited by the intersection of paid advertising and owned sites, and the way social media can both build and amplify online advertising and content.Coworkers know me as a word nerd and someone who stays late to get the job done. People came to me when they had problems they needed solved, whether it was a client who didn’t understand some aspect of how paid search worked, to fix something in their account, or just to proofread and edit a report or client email. The most important thing I ever learned is that great content is only great if it supports the goals and messaging of the organization.
