I'm passionate about learning about other countries and systems through international comparative work in Europe, Africa, Asia and the U.S. I've worked on accountability, evaluation, assessment, school inspections, school improvement and teacher agency as part of visiting scholarships at Harvard University and Columbia University and in consultancies for the OECD, UNICEF, the EU. I was a full professor at University College London until 2019.
