Platinum Packaging, Inc. is a contract packaging and assembly company. I joined Platinum Packaging in the role of Operations Manager in 1999 when we were in a 35,000 square feet facility with only a couple of accounts. We grew the business to the requirements of 200,000 square feet within two years and then again to over 365,000 square feet of production and warehouse space. As well as overseeing the whole of the operations, my responsibilities included the coordination of all of the production lines for multiple accounts with the heavy seasons reaching over 25 separate lines, double shifts and the requiring of over 300 temporary employees per day.
