I have become a leader in the field of advocacy for individuals and families. Believing a proactive, rather than reactive plan is needed to assist families to be independent and successful before they become part of "the system," I strive to apply the knowledge I have gained to more effectively serve those in the community who most need help in developing the skills needed to more fully reach their goals.Prior to accepting my current position, I served Associate Director for Penn's Behavior Change for Good Initiative and Human Services Director for Salem County, NJ. I was the lead for HUD development in the Homeless Continuum of Care and managed a transitional housing program providing case management services to move individuals and families to permanent housing, managed the Youth Services Commission, CIACC board, and development and management and delivery for many human service programs. I am passionate about the effective delivery of services and understand how vital it is to have a holistic approach to the work I do, within an agency and the community at large.
