In 2014, an opportunity presented itself in form a new regulation in Europe on personaldata protection. I had the vision that the impact of GDPR, and consequently the businessopportunity would be huge with the EU soon to approve it.I thought this was the perfect timing and so I have decided to leave my beloved Quebec and moveto Luxembourg. In February 2015 I started my business, MGSI sarl, a firm specialised in dataprotection which advises on GDPR-related matters with several key services (Gap analysis,implementations, external DPO service, training, etc.). My vision came real, my ideas were right, ayear later the GDPR was approved and 5 years later, my business is developping new market.
