With a family relocation to Dubai, I took the opportunity to return to University to gain a Masters level degree in education with the University of Nottingham.During my study, I worked as Teaching Assistant within a British curriculum school working with Year 5 & 6 students.It was my responsibility to support the Year 5 & 6 Teachers in up-levelling lesser ability students as well as advancing the more able students in Maths and Literacy.Graduating with a Merit level PGCE degree in July 2013, I secured a post at the same school as Art Teacher and Year 3 Cover Teacher. This allowed me to work with students across the school (Year 1-6) teaching Art in line with the UK Art curriculum. I also supported the Year 3 Head with weekly cover lessons in Maths and Literacy.I had to leave Dubai at short notice due to a family situation. I am now permanently based in Kent.
