I am responsible for communications to all of RESA's stakeholders, which includes website and social media account management, as well as developing eNewletters and blogs. I plan and conduct meetings and events. Maintaining an up to date CRM and database is another part of my role. I am also responsible for the development of the Hot Rubble brand, website, social media and communications.

After working as a product formatter for 6 months, I was given a promotion to move into a senior role within the development department. Another 6 months on and the company re-structured to form a sales and marketing department; I moved into a marketing support role. I currently am responsible for all marketing activities of smallPRINT; including producing advertising, market research and reporting. I produce all of smallPRINT’s marketing material (print and online) and recently played a major role in developing a new website. Over the past year while working at smallPRINT I have also completed a Diploma of Marketing and Advertising through TAFE SA, this was a great way to validate the skills I have learned at work.

I started working at smallPRINT as a product formatter. smallPRINT produce print and online trainingmanuals for a variety of different industries. I was responsible for formatting a variety of documents and resources to meet smallPRINT requirements; this required a high attention to detail and a keen eye forgraphics.

I worked at Sydac for 11 months as a graphic assistant / feature placement. Sydac produce computer based training simulators for several industries; I was based in the rail graphics team. My role was to place 3D graphic features such as signs and signals into the graphic scenery according to where they were located on track schematic maps or in real life video. I also tested simulators for bugs, created basic xmls that allowed graphic features to change state within the world model and produced 2D visual splash screens which display while simulators are loading. This role required a great attention to detail and sound computer knowledge. I greatly extended my computer skills while working at Sydac and are now much more confident I will be able to learn new programs and processes easily. This position was offered to me as a six month contract, I was offered continual casual work after my contract expired. I left Sydac at the end of March 2010 after being successful in gaining a position that offered me experience in another field.

I completed a variety of different tasks on a daily basis in this role. I used SAP to create new part numbers and BOM’s. I designed basic Hydro systems, Single PT systems and Solo E systems using the 3D CAD application mechanical desktop. I detailed technical drawings of new parts (pipe-work, base-frames and packaging, as well as complete systems) using mechanical desktop. I obtained quotes from suppliers for newly designed parts and off the shelf product. I compiled I&O manuals and entered test results for manufactured Hydro systems. I made required changes to SAP BOM’s as requested and provided assembly information to the factory floor by accessing information on SAP and company databases. I also completeda systems auditing course and performed audits to assess company procedure. My position at Grundfos was made redundant on the 20th of April 2009, due to financial implications on the company.
