In my professional as well as personal life, I strive to sprinkle in whimsy and harbor magic in the spirits of those young and old through laughter, creativity, and the healing power of music. I’m currently a teaching artist at Nashville Children’s Theatre as well as an actor and events manager at A New Day Princess Parties in Chicago, two jobs that have brought me endless joy. Encouraging the playful spirit and creativity of children has always been one of my passions and something I hope to uphold in my work through education and special events. I have a deep connection to Middle Appalachia and wish to encourage the power of play, curiosity, and theatre in the region that nurtured my need to keep dreaming. I have a lifelong love of comedy and music, helping manage comedy festivals and music groups here at DePaul, and strive to make a difference in people’s lives by giving them the space to experience a type of joy that cannot be contained in themselves but instead must be let go through laughter and song.
