It all started when I learned how to paint in 2nd grade. I was instantly fueled by the ability to create and inspire. Soon my interest in painting turned into a love of drawing clothing as if I was a fashion designer at the age of 10. When I hit my teens and started sifting through Seventeen and InStyle, I found joy in making my own vision boards pieced together with different letters, colors, textures, on-trend fashion and accessories to hang up on my wall. No surprise that the moment I turned 16, I started my longstanding career in the fashion industry and the rest was history. I’d found one of my greatest passions in this life (aside from food and traveling).Fast forward 5 years and I had graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Apparel Merchandising and a minor in Business from Colorado State University. Go Rams! Upon graduation, this program was amongst the top 5% merchandising programs in the nation. I had learned to blend my passion for creativity, arts, and fashion, with strategy, data-driven decision making, and a business acumen that would prepare me for my future careers. In the years following college, I’ve worn many professional hats; Wholesale Sales Intern, Sales Manager, Lead Buyer, Lead Merchandiser, Senior Sales Representative, accompanied by many small roles in between. Let’s call those the accessories that top off my work experience. These roles also spanned over several industries, including apparel, accessories, footwear, gifts, home decor, makeup, skincare, and online education technology. Yes, online education technology! Plot twist, I know.I’ve had the pleasure of working for both locally-owned small businesses comprised of 50 women, all the way up to a multi-national corporate company of thousands of talented people, each business providing unique and important work experience to build upon professionally.Present day, I am a passionate and accomplished professional with nearly 9 years of diverse work experience looking to continuously grow in my career, fulfill my passions, take on positions that are challenging, creative, strategic, and inspiring, and never stop striving to realize my potential.
