Melanie has earned a Bachelor of Science in the specialised neuroscience programme, a Bachelor of Medical Science with First Class Honours, and a Master of Business Administration. She has managed a university based health research programme, led large projects, and has organised a number of international research meetings held at research institutes in Italy, and the World Health Organisation, Switzerland. Melanie is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Women on Boards, and the Graduate Management Association. Melanie has an entrepreneurial spirit; she has been a Non-Executive Director of a multinational research consortium, has developed a patented medical device, and is a founder of an early stage medtech startup. She is committed to the application of evidence based management, building sustainable relationships, and exceeding stakeholder expectations.
