Provide direct support to a multi-year U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Cooperative Agreement related to environmental cleanup of the nuclear weapons complex and the engagement of states and tribes impacted by these and other activities of the DOE including energy development, advanced nuclear technologies, and nuclear waste disposal. Also supports NCSL’s environment policy team through meeting planning activities, web page updates, policy research and grant-related activities. Independently performs general office and program support tasks, event organization, travel support, purchasing, expense tracking, data entry and retrieval, web content updates, and electronic file tracking and management with minimal supervision. Assists with recruitment and onboarding efforts for program staff, including participating in hiring teams and training new staff on organizational processes and best practices.Key Accomplishments:•Managed logistical details and presenter and attendee outreach and travel reimbursement for the 2024 Tribal Clean Energy Summit, 2022 Tribal Clean Energy Summit, 2019 National Tribal Energy Summit and 2019 National Transportation Stakeholders Forum.•Manage venue and logistical details and presenter and attendee outreach for 8-10 meetings and dozens of webinars and virtual meetings for three DOE-funded state-tribal working groups each year. •Built a website for the Tribal Radioactive Materials Transportation Committee on Google Sites.•Implemented the use of Microsoft Project with my core project teams to help track action items, timelines, and deliverables more effectively.
