She is proficient in Swedish. Colleagues describe her as "Melanie worked at Rivertrees as our Operations Manager for three months during our high season. She contributed by supporting the housekeeping and restaurant teams. She completed daily room checks, assisted the housekeepers with turndown service, ensured meal service ran smoothly and acted as a point person in the evening hours to assist guests and welcome late night arrivals to our hotel. She quickly became a contributing member to our team and assimilated well with the staff. I highly recommend Melanie for similar positions and welcome requests for further information." and "Melanie has the skills to jump-in, understand concepts and deliver those concepts to an audience personally and professionally! As the Marine Hotel Operations Project Manager for the Shipboard Property Management System (SPMS) roll-out of the Crew Payroll modules, I had the opportunity to guide Melanie on all operational items. Melanie as our Implementer and Traveling SPMS Roll-Out Trainer was instrumental to the success of our project. She became quickly well-versed in the official guidelines, company policies and the detailed system. Melanie was calm when there was chaos around her; she was a great sounding board and she asked the right questions at the right time. As she had previous shipboard experience, Melanie was able to board our ships, complete the necessary training in a timely manner without much oversight. I would highly recommend Melanie!"
