Aspects of each project may include: Researching, sourcing, pricing, ordering, and installing procured products that are functional, safe and aesthetically appropriate for the clients space; Drafting, by hand or computer, proposed space plans, 2- and 3-dimensional drawings, rendering a color palette with material and fabric selections, and generating physical or digital presentation boards, and overseeing construction documents as they relate to the project scope, applicable codes, and safety requirements; Coordination between consulting trades to accomplish collaborative scopes of work including architects, engineers, contractors, lighting technicians, and millwork and fabric vendors acting as a representative of the client and on behalf of their intentions.

Proactively oversaw design, space planning and signage of new stores, remodels, downsize, and relocations of footwear retail stores both in the US and Canada. Multi-tasked an average of 60 projects per year, advancing thru milestones and meeting established deadlines. Managed, filed and published documentation, photos, construction drawings and approvals from landlords and municipalities with outside architectural and engineering consultants and cross-departmentally throughout the company while working both individually and within a team environment.

Successively designed clients’ interior environments from building a client profile, creating a design program, space planning, project research, fabric selections and their applications, lighting, flooring, to custom wall treatments. Produced presentation boards to include hand-drafted and/or computer generated rendered perspectives and elevations. Saw the project through completion, including reconciling vendors’ purchase orders, installation schedule, and delivery acceptance and setup.
